Key Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking an R&D Specialist with a strong background in molecular biology to join our expanding team of experts in Israel. This is a hands-on laboratory role, in which the candidate will be directly responsible for executing and optimizing protocols on a high-throughput screening platform.

The position involves performing screening workflows, supporting qPCR- and NGS-based assays, and evaluating novel methodologies to advance the team’s scientific objectives. The candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary group of experienced specialists, contributing both technical expertise and practical execution to ensure alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute daily experimental plans aligned with project goals and timelines
  • Perform routine workflows including RNA purification, qPCR assays, and NGS preparations
  • Record, analyze, and present experimental data in a clear and organized manner, including structured documentation of protocols and results
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams 

Required Qualifications

  • BSc / MSc in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • RNA purification / extraction
    • qPCR (including assay execution and troubleshooting)
    • NGS workflows (e.g., sample prep and/or library preparation; familiarity with NGS pipeline steps)
    • Strong ability to maintain high-quality documentation, including experimental records and data summaries
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a high-throughput or structured lab environment with attention to detail
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment

Work Structure:

  • Office/Lab located in Ness Ziona and onsite work is required  
  • General ability to flex work time/days to account for meetings across time zones
  • The position is a fixed term contract for 6-9 months
